Estimated Tuition & Fees: 2024-2025

The University of North Carolina Board of Governors establishes the tuition and fee structure for the program during the spring of the prior academic year. The cost of attendance varies each semester and is contingent on a student’s enrollment (full or part-time), residency status, and associated university and program fees. The matrix below is an estimated cost for the DSBA graduate programs and assumes that students are enrolled in the traditional campus program. The estimate includes the DSBA Tuition Increment. General information regarding UNC Charlotte’s graduate tuition and fees can be found here.

International Students

The International Student and Scholars Office (ISSO) develops an annual estimate of costs for a non-resident, full-time enrolled student in the Data Science & Business Analytics program. A detailed breakdown for the 2024-2025 academic year can be found here. “When estimating the full cost of attendance, be sure to include the Mandatory Tuition Increments for Data Science & Business Analytics listed below mandatory tuition and fees.”

North Carolina Residency

The state of North Carolina substantially subsidizes the cost of tuition for all students whose domicile, or permanent legal residence, is in North Carolina. Residency determination for graduate students at UNC Charlotte is centralized at the statewide North Carolina Residency Determination Service (RDS) rather than determined locally by campus officials. New applicants claiming NC Residency as well as currently enrolled students who wish to apply for in-state residency for tuition purposes will be required to do so through the RDS. Additional information on North Carolina resident status for tuition purposes is available here.
